Craft Business Awards

Nominations Open For Craft Business Awards 2008/09

The Craft Business Awards are back!

Nominations are now open – allowing you to have your say on those that should make the final vote later in the year. This year's Awards feature brand new categories, enabling every Craft Business reader to vote in those sectors that really affect their business.

“Last year's Awards attracted a fantastic response from the trade and we look forward to congratulating those who have excelled in 2008,” comments organiser Craig De Souza. “Our awards represent a genuine 'seal of approval' from the trade and encourage everyone in the industry to strive for higher standards. It's a rare opportunity to recognise the very positive work going on to build the craft and hobby sector and we're proud to be involved.”

Craig's views are echoed by who topped the vote in 2007. “Everyone involved here is thrilled with the award,” said Jill Tuck, manager of The Stamp Man after being voted runner up in the Best Independent Retailer category. “It's wonderful to be recognised for all our efforts within the industry.” Others were similarly pleased. “It's a really great honour to be recognised by the market in this way and really 'rubber stamps' all of the hard work that we've done over the last six years,” commented Sandie Goble of Mad About Cards on winning the Best Retail Website category in 2007.

So, whether you've received excellent customer service, benefited from perfect product knowledge or just want to celebrate a long standing business relationship that makes your working life easier – now is the time to repay the favour with a Craft Business Awards nomination.
