Efco Enhances Enamelling

Set to make an impression on the craft market, a new range of enamelling powders has been introduced by Efco.
Dubbed 'Efcolor', the powders come in a choice of 40 vibrant colourways, including metallics and glitters, and can be baked in a domestic oven at temperatures of 150°C. Suited towards a variety of crafting disciplines, Efcolor will fix to metal, glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and stone.
Commenting on the range, which is further enhanced by a wide collection of decorative copper design pieces ready for enamelling, William Weill, Efco’s UK agent, says, “There is a revival in enamelling taking place in the UK, particularly for designer jewellery, which we believe is set to grow. This range comes complete, from enamelling powder to sets of enamelling tools, although all items can be bought individually.
“We have produced an A5 size pamphlet illustrating the colours, enamelling techniques and effects, plus jewellery ideas. And crafters can produce finishes to a professional standard with Efcolor and create their individual style with various techniques,” he adds.
