Published: Friday, February 11, 2011
Woodware Craft Collection have been announced as the new UK distributor of Bruynzeel-Sakura products.
With a mutual dedication to customer service and satisfaction, this new partnership will ensure that retailers in the UK will receive prompt updates and information about all Sakura products.
Bruynzeel-Sakura was founded 30 December 1947 when the Bruynzeel pencil factory was established. The Bruynzeel pencil factory joined the Japanese Sakura Group in 1997. With effect from 1 October 2000, Sakura Europe and Bruynzeel Pencil Factory joined forces to become bruynzeel-sakura, an inspiring organisation with inspiring products, “the best of both worlds”, top quality products from both the Bruynzeel and the Sakura range. A unique blend of knowledge, expertise and ideas.
In 1984, Sakura surprised the industry with its technological breakthrough invention of the first gel-based ink. Sakura’s most recent innovations are dimensional inks with Glaze® in 2003 and Soufflé™ in 2005. The inks write with a raised effect similar to embossing without the need for heat tools or powders. The 3-D inks can write on multiple surfaces such as paper, glass, ceramics, metals & plastics.
