2010 sees STAEDTLER bringing FIMO polymer modelling clay under the STAEDTLER banner in a move to enhance and capitalize on the strength of this flagship brand.
Whilst the world famous polymer modelling clay will continue to be made to exactly the same recipe at the same factory in Germany, other key products including air drying clays, leaf metal and accessories will now be integrated into the FIMO brand.
The new FIMO range has been simplified into three distinct groups: FIMO polymer modelling clay, comprising FIMO Classic, FIMO Soft and FIMO Effect; FIMO Air air-drying and microwave modelling clays, and FIMO Accessories. Bright new packaging with clear labelling to help differentiate products has also been introduced.
Brand new for 2010 are two flexible push moulds – ABA/123 and Ornaments – and two new designs, Zoo and Funny Garden, for the popular FIMO Soft Kits for Kids range. Throughout the show there will be regular workshops by leading polymer clay expert Bonnie McGough demonstrating the unique versatility of FIMO Soft.
