Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts is returning to Exeter and Cardiff this year, and is set to be a jam-packed crafting spectacular.
One major highlight will be the showcase of some of the beautifully handmade costumes from the hit ITV series Downton Abbey.
The programme was a huge success, and the Edwardian costumes that will be on display, will examine the needlework and craftsmanship that went into some of the iconic outfits of that time.
As well as the focus on period dramas, there will be exhibits from Poetry in Stitches, Glimpses of Childhood and an exploration of the ancient craft of lace-making.
If that wasn't enough, the event has stepped up a gear and launched a brand new sewing cafe. Embracing the make do and mend trend and giving people the chance to drop in and use a sewing machine by the hour.
There will also be a display of entries from last year's Stylish Stitches 'Headgear' competition, where members were challenged to get their needles clicking and knit an innovative piece of head-wear.
If you still aren't tempted, visitors will be able to enjoy a free programme of workshops and talks at each day of the show, along with browsing more than 150 exhibitor stalls at the event.
The show will be at Westpoint Centre Exeter from 22nd – 25th September, and the Cardiff International Arena from 29 September - 1st October.
