John Lewis will launch its biggest ever marketing drive tomorrow in the run-up to Christmas, with a £23million campaign promoting its 'Never Knowingly Undersold' position.
The figure marks a 38% year-on-year increase in spend for the retailer, which is continuing to make inroads into the knitting, sewing and haberdashery market.
John Lewis got involved with Wool Week earlier this month when it ran workshops for customers to learn how to knit, felt and weave, taught by experts from Rowan.
The latest John Lewis store to open last week is at the new Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, and offers sewing machines, baskets and accessories as part of its wares.
