Craft queen and TV homes and interiors guru Kirstie Allsopp has set up a new initiative with hardware store B&Q and launched craft workshops for those on a tight budget this Christmas.
The You Can Do It DIY classes are aimed at kids aged seven to 11 years old and led by a specially trained B&Q expert.
The children are taught how to make a variety of festive fancies, from bird boxes to sledges and wooden Christmas trees with each class costing between £5 and £20.
Since Kirstie's Homemade Britain returned to our screens earlier this month, crafters have been busy collecting ideas for their new Christmas projects.
With Kirstie encouraging people to be more resourceful in the lead-up to the festive season and inspiring more people to get crafty, it looks set to be a very happy trading period.
