Demand for workshops teaching consumers how to knit their own hats and scarves are set to be in huge demand this year thanks to one of the world's most glamorous stars recently revealing her secret obsession with the pastime.
Speaking to the celebrity magazine New, Jennifer Aniston spoke about her passion for the pastime, saying, “I've been knitting a lot lately. My make-up artist gave me a basket of needles and yarn as a present, and I just said: 'Alright, I can do this. I did it in school.' Now, I'm loving it. I've knitted a couple of hats and scarves, and am starting on my first poncho.”
The actress is just one of a number of celebrities to have endorsed the pastime over the past few years, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts and Madonna all revealing their love of knitting in recent times – leading to sales of yarn and demand for any workshops relating to the hobby rising dramatically soon after.
