Crafters are being urged to cast their votes in the 2008 Craft Awards as the final deadline approaches. With organisers starting their final count up at the end of play on 14th December, hopeful retailers, manufacturers, designers and authors have just two weeks to persuade their customers to get voting.
The Awards, now in their fourth year well established as the industry benchmark, are voted for by readers of Quick&Crafty!, Let's Make Cards!, Let's Get Crafting! and market leader Crafts Beautiful who submit their views through published magazine forms and online at http://www.craftawards.com. .“ There's been a definite shift in the voting this year,” says Awards organiser Liz Tuthill. “A huge number of new names cropped up in nominations, really changing the balance of power on the shortlist. We're as fascinated as everyone else to hear who crafters consider their favourites in 2008! If you're shortlisted, make sure all your potential voters know!” Liz advises all craft businesses. “Customers will also have the chance to vote for those brands, shows and products that matter most to them so it's a really great way to assess the specific tastes and demands of your customer base come the results.”
