A group of independent craft collectives have joined forces to promote crafts at the Mayor’s Thames Festival along the Southbank on 10th and 11th September 2011.
Five independent crafty ladies have put together a Craft Trail to help guide visitors to the crafting area of the festival in a fun and unique way.
By developing the Craft Trail, it will allow visitors to follow a map to discover the huge variety of handmade goods on offer, learn more about the processes behind the making of them and have some fun along the way!
Already creating a lot of interest and giving more people the chance to get involved with crafting, the Trail has been put together by:
Debbie Daniel (Craft Guerrilla), Sanna King, (Sannapanda), Sinead Koehler (Crafty Fox), Mary Mcdermott (We Make London), and Jessica Widdows (Of Cabbages & Kings) with help from each of their collectives.
The Craft Trail is part of the Thames Festival, taking place in London between Westminster and Tower Hill tubes this weekend.
