The crafty buzz seems to have spread to royal quarters, as Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall have been snapped trying their hand at some traditional jewellery making.
The Prince of Wales and his wife recently enjoyed having a go at making some beaded jewellery on an official visit to Tanzania.
Charles and Camilla were visiting a charity workshop that employs disabled men and women in the country's capital, Dar Es Salaam, when they were invited to try some local handicrafts.
The royal couple learned how to make a pair of earrings and necklace and were given step-by-step guidance from the Wonder Workshop charity staff.
Camilla was handed a leather lace to thread through a blue glass ring and Charles was given some tiny beads to thread through a piece of thin wire, when he admitted: ‘This is where I need my glasses.’
The couple are on a four day visit to Tanzania, marking the 50th anniversary of the African country’s independence from Britain.
With royalty now getting involved with traditional handicrafts, it'll be sure to inspire more people to make their own jewellery and come shopping for beads.
