Due to the exceptionally high winds on Thursday 18th January, the Make It show at Thorpe Park was cancelled on the weekend of 19th to 20th January 2007.
The team of organisors, who worked non-stop to ensure as many people as possible got involved in the event, have been informed, were disappointed about the decision and exhibitors were contacted individually. Thousands of visitors who pre-booked tickets, received information from the organisers of the cancellation.
“I would like to say a big thank you to all our exhibitors who have been so supportive. Everyone is extremely disappointed particularly as the show was set to be our best yet with all stands sold and fantastic advance ticket sales,” said Kate Valentine, show organiser.
The event has now been rescheduled and will take place at Thorpe Park on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd February, with opening times of 9am till 7pm.
