November saw hundreds of crafters flock to Surrey for one of Europe’s most eagerly-awaited conventions.
Launched by leading craft company Stampin’ Up, the event attracted individuals from all over the world and featured an extensive selection of new products set to enter the market in the new year.
More than 300 demonstrators from the UK, Germany and France attended the show, with some of the best-known names in the industry making an appearance.
The event, which featured a number of hugely-popular classes teaching businesses how to ensure their in-store demonstrations are up-to-scratch, has been hailed a huge success by its organisers and attendees alike.
Highlighting the fantastic response to the show, Shelli Gardener, co-founder of Stampin’ Up!, enthuses, “When I started the company, it was because I was passionate about crafting and wanted to share the happiness it gave me with others. For me, the most meaningful rewards and recognition that come from being a demonstrator are to share experiences and see fellow stampers’ excitement when they realise they can do something they never thought possible—be it making a homemade card, gift, or scrapbook page.”
Paula Gorry, UK country manager, agrees the success of the event was overwhelming, adding, “Our European convention is the highlight of the year and gives us the opportunity to connect with each other and share inspiring stories, techniques and product ideas, as well as other tips that will help demonstrators develop their business into whatever they want it to be.”
