The lines are closed, the votes are in, and now begins a massive count up of the votes for the first annual Craft Business Awards. Due to be announced on Tuesday 25th March, the results of the trade vote will be revealed first on Craftbusiness.com so make sure to check this page for a first glimpse at the winners. A more detailed analysis of the results, including interviews with the winners, will appear within Craft Business April/May issue.
With several categories presenting hard-fought contests, every last tick and cross will matter to the nominees hoping for glory. The awards will be the culmination of a rigorous process which began with the opening of nominations early in 2007. Votes have been flying into the Craft Business office through a variety of channels; industry insiders have voted both online and via phone, fax and post. Final views were canvassed at Craft Hobby + Stitch International where visitors were invited to record their preferences across seven categories.
Nomination forms are already drawn up for our 2008 Awards, and will appear online following the announcement of this year's winners.
